Meet Fitrianti Sofyan, affectionately known as Tia, a trailblazer in the realm of renewable energy. Her journey ignited during her college years, when a spark for renewable energy solutions caught fire within her.

Tia’s quest intensified as she joined the SBRC-IPB Biogas research team, expanding her horizons on the limitless possibilities of renewable energy. From 2015 to 2017, she emboldened rural communities through the Patriot Energy program in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Her tenure on Maratua Island, East Kalimantan, stands as a testament to her commitment–an impactful year of empowering the island’s populace.

Recognizing the vital importance of collaboration from local sites to national endeavors, Tia’s passion deepened. She embraced the role of researcher at Coaction Indonesia in 2019, fostering her holistic understanding of renewable energy on a global scale. Presently serving as the Communication and Campaign Manager at Coaction Indonesia, Tia’s fourth-year tenure is underscored by initiatives like #GoGreenJobs and #LangkahHariIni – catalysts inspiring youth to embrace mindful environmental stewardship.

Juggling her demanding role, Tia champions public transportation around the city and seeks solace in nature’s embrace–a testament to her unwavering commitment.
